The Registrar General, Ms. Mercy K. Kainobwisho, visited the Masaka Regional Office where she interacted with staff and appreciated their efforts in delivering services to the public.
The visit followed a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity at the Masaka School of the Deaf, where URSB engaged with the school community as part of the organisation’s commitment to giving back to society.
During her visit to the regional office, Ms. Kainobwisho was accompanied by a team from the URSB Head Office. She held discussions with staff, and acknowledged the important role they play in supporting URSB’s mandate at the regional level.
She commended the team for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving clients despite the different challenges they may encounter while carrying out their duties.

She also encouraged staff to continue improving service delivery and creating a welcoming environment for clients seeking URSB services. She suggested the need for bigger office spacing to provide a more comfortable working environment for staff and better service experience for customers.
The engagement provided an opportunity for the team to connect with staff, understand their needs, and appreciate their contribution to the growth of URSB services across the country.
The visit reflects the leadership’s commitment to supporting its regional offices and ensuring that staff have the necessary environment and support to effectively serve the public.
