The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has continued with its regional Business Rescue and Aftercare Programme (BRAP) trainings, reaching entrepreneurs and business owners in Masaka to strengthen their ability to manage challenges and build sustainable enterprises.
From 15th to 17th June 2026, URSB conducted a three-day BRAP training at Marple Leaf Hotel in Masaka, bringing together business owners from the region for practical learning on business recovery, resilience, and growth.
The training is part of a series of regional BRAP engagements being conducted across the country to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the knowledge and skills needed to survive disruptions and improve their operations.
Implemented in partnership with the International Development Law Organisation (IDLO), the programme focused on key areas including business planning, governance, risk management, compliance, and strategies for long-term sustainability.
Participants were guided on how to identify business challenges early, develop recovery plans, and put in place better management practices that can help their enterprises remain stable and competitive.
The sessions also provided an opportunity for entrepreneurs to share experiences and learn from each other on ways to overcome common business difficulties.
Since its introduction in 2023, BRAP has supported hundreds of entrepreneurs across Uganda, contributing to stronger businesses and protection of jobs and livelihoods.
Through BRAP and other initiatives, URSB continues to work with partners to promote a business environment where enterprises can recover, grow, and contribute to Uganda’s economic development.
