The opening round of Season Three has ended on a tight note, with both teams level on points after two matches played.
According to the latest table standings, the Reds and the Blues each have three points, one win, and one loss, with an equal goal difference. This leaves the competition wide open as the season gathers pace.
In the most recent match played on April 16, the Reds edged the Blues 1–0 in a very competitive match. Martin Sseruwagi scored the only goal in the 43rd minute, giving the Reds a smile and their first win of the season. The result also gave the Reds their first clean sheet, while the Blues are yet to register one.

“We are happy to secure our first win and finish top in this round because the boys showed discipline and consistency. This is just the beginning, and we must stay focused for the next games,” Sseruwagi said.
The Blues had earlier shown promise with a big win, but the loss means they now share top position with their rivals. Team lead Mr. Rogers Abaho had earlier praised his side for discipline and consistency, qualities they will need going into the next round.
Both teams have shown moments of quality so far. This season, key players to watch out for are Solomon Osele for Team Blue and Patrick Obwon for Team Red.
