URSB Staff Trained to Strengthen Client Support and Service Delivery

The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has strengthened its commitment to efficient customer service by equipping staff with skills to effectively use the Client Support Desk Platform for faster handling of client inquiries and complaints.

The virtual training session, held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. via Zoom, was facilitated by Mr. Keneth Nuwagaba, Senior Business Process Re-Engineering Officer.

During the session, staff were guided on how to effectively use the digital platform to assist clients in logging inquiries, submitting complaints, and tracking the progress of their issues until resolution. The platform is designed to streamline communication between URSB and the public, ensuring that client concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Mr. Nuwagaba emphasized the importance of using the client support desk platform to improve public service delivery. He noted that equipping staff with the necessary skills to use the support desk platform will enable the members to respond faster to client needs and maintain a high standard of professionalism in handling customer issues.

The training is part of URSB’s broader efforts to strengthen client engagement and enhance operational efficiency. By improving staff capacity to manage client concerns, the bureau aims to ensure timely responses and greater transparency in the resolution process.

This initiative will ultimately improve the experience of businesses and individuals who rely on the bureau’s services.
