The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has achieved another milestone in its digital transformation journey with the official launch of the URSB Intranet, a platform designed to enhance communication, coordination, and collaboration across the institution.
Speaking during the launch last week, Deputy Registrar General (DRG) Mr. Alex Anganya hailed the initiative as a transformative step towards strengthening teamwork and streamlining daily operations.
“Today we have completed a major milestone, and this innovation is now part of our daily activities,” said Mr. Anganya. “The Intranet connects all departments as one. Let’s embrace it, use it consistently, and make it our base for communication, requests, and teamwork. As the Registrar General always says, we all need to be part of the Bureau; this platform helps us do exactly that.”
The new Intranet will serve as a central digital hub for staff across URSB’s departments and service centres, allowing for quick information sharing, online requests, and improved workflow management. It aims to strengthen institutional coordination and foster a culture of innovation and inclusivity.
Mr. Anganya encouraged all staff to actively use the platform and keep it vibrant with meaningful engagement.
“Let’s keep it active, collaborate more, and work together towards our shared goals,” he added.
The launch of the URSB Intranet underscores the Bureau’s commitment to harnessing technology for efficiency, unity, and service excellence.
